About our team

The Engineering teams at Bibliu are designed with stakeholders in mind. You would be joining the Content team which builds and maintains BibliU’s content platform. We are a friendly, open-minded, collaborative team and are always aiming to improve ourselves and our processes.

Team purpose:

• Ensure publisher content can be successfully displayed in the Bibliu platform, be it familiar or new types of media.

• Solve challenging, industry-wide problems to improve and speed-up the processes which supply institutions with content.

• Empower internal teams by providing tools and data allowing them to spend more time on value-adding work.

• Ensure our services are robust and able to adapt to the ever-changing needs and size of the industry.

Responsibilities

Note: we are open to hiring junior candidates in which case the following would become targets!

• Contribute to architectural discussions and help us make technical implementation decisions.

• Build new features for our existing products.

• Troubleshoot issues and maintain our existing stack.

About you

We are looking for a back-end software engineer to join our team.

Preferred experience:

• Cloud services (preferably AWS)

• JavaScript and Node.js

• REST APIs

Ideal but not necessary:

• Experience with Go(lang)

• Interest in infrastructure and DevOps

• Experience with event driven architecture
